Our Philosophy

MOWCAST was built by professionals, for professionals. We're in the business of selling innovative tools, hardware devices, and professional subscriptions—not your data. We have zero interest in tracking, collecting, or monetizing your personal information.

What We Don't Collect

No account creation - You can use the free homepage tool without signing up
No email addresses - We don't ask for them on the public site
No cookies for tracking - We don't use analytics or advertising cookies
No location storage - Your address or zip code is never saved in our database
No third-party trackers - No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar
No selling of data - There's no data to sell!

How the Public Tool Works

When you enter a zip code or address on our homepage:

We use your location to fetch real-time weather data from third-party services
The weather data is analyzed and displayed instantly in your browser
We do NOT store your address/zip code anywhere
Once the page closes, the data is gone—it exists only in your browser session
Your location is used only for that single weather check, nothing more

What Our Hosting Provider Collects

MOWCAST is hosted on Hostinger. Like all web hosts, they maintain standard server logs for security and performance purposes. These may include:

IP addresses of visitors
Browser type and operating system
Pages accessed and timestamps
Referrer information (what site you came from)

These logs are standard practice for web hosting and are used for:

Preventing attacks and abuse
Troubleshooting technical issues
Understanding general traffic patterns

Professional Dashboard (Paid Subscribers)

If you purchase a MOWCAST device or professional subscription, we collect only what's necessary to provide the service:

Property addresses - Only those you voluntarily add to your dashboard for weather monitoring
Payment information - Processed securely through payment processors (we never see full card numbers)
Device data - If you own a MOWCAST hardware device, we store your saved properties and preferences

This data is used ONLY to:

Provide the service you paid for
Send important account notifications
Provide customer support

We never sell or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Our Business Model

We make money by selling:

MOWCAST Hardware Devices - Desk-ready weather displays for professionals
